Saul Bass

Saul Bass was a graphic designer who specialized in the fields of logo and movie poster design. He is famous for designing logos for companies such as AT&T, United Airlines, and Kleenex. The impact he made on logo design is still felt today even though most of his logos were designed in the 1970's and early 80's. Bass is also famous for his movie poster designs. His use of bold colors made his posters incredibly unique and powerful. He also worked in the film industry designing animated title sequences. He worked with numerous famous directors such as Alfred Hitchcock, Stanly Kubrick, and Martin Scorsese throughout his lengthy career. Bass died in 1996 at the age of 76.
